Cortona is a special town for us, located on the border of Tuscany and Umbria. The easiest way to get there is by flying into one of the nearby international airports and then either renting a car or taking a train. Learn more about getting to and around Cortona here:
We will be providing transportation to the wedding from the town of Cortona.
Exact pickup locations will be shared closer to the date, but we recommend to stay in the town of Cortona itself. Any accommodation you find will be great, but here are a few recommendations:
Please wear what you feel comfortable in! Though it's good to note that the wedding will be entirely outdoors.
Early October in Cortona should be pleasant, mild autumn weather. You can expect average high temperatures to be around 20°C (68°F) and average lows to be around 10°C (50°F). We'll also have a marquee if the weather decides not to agree with us.
For guys: suits, slacks, or kilts are highly recommended. For the ladies: if you're wearing heels, you may want to consider a block heel because there will be a little walking on grass.
Because our lives are split between New Orleans, Scotland, and Amsterdam, it means so much that you're traveling to celebrate with us in Italy.
